What to expect at our rally

Introduction

The Eribalife rally is being held at the Moulin du Bel-Air campsite at Saint Germain du Bel_Air in the Lot between Monday 13th June and Monday 27th June 2022. Our hosts at Mouline du Bel-Air are Thibaud and Anne Lambelin.

The Campsite is situated in the beautiful countryside that is sandwiched between the Dordogne river to the north and the Lot river to the south. The French market towns of Sarlat-la Caneda is to the north and Cahors to the south, with many other beautiful and famous French villages such as Rocamadour and St Cirq-Lapopie waiting to be explored.  If you have been to this area before you will not require me to tell you of the potential. I am sure you will have places lined up to visit and attractions to see. If you have not been to this part of France before then you are in for a treat!

If it is your intention to join us in the Lot we will look forward to seeing you at Moulin du Bel-Air. Below is a list of activities we plan to host during the rally. You are welcome to join in with as little or as much of the organised events as you would like to. There is no requirement or expectation with regards to your commitment, however we would like to know what you would like to be included in to help with the planning.

The Campsite Terrace, Bar and Brassierie

During the past couple of years and the enforced shut down owing to the Covid Pandemic, Thibaud and Anne have not been ideal. During that time they have taken the opportunity to update and modernise their bar, terrace, and brassier. During our time at Mouline du Bel-Air these facilities will be open to us to use as individuals or to hold some group events as will be detailed in the following proposed schedule. Of course, when using their facilities for events it is only natural for us to use their bar facilities at the same time. Please do not bring your own alcohol or refreshments to these scheduled events unless given permission to do so beforehand.

The Bar will be open from 16:30 hrs every day. The Brasserie will provide lunches if requested in advance.

During this trip, you will discover the landscapes and villages typical of the Dordogne area along the Céou river, arriving at the foot of Castelneau castle where the Céou and Dordogne rivers meet.

The cost of this excursion, including bike hire and picnic, is €30 per person.
